rhiannon giddens 2023-2024 tour in search of roots

Singer-songwriter and banjo prodigy Rhiannon Giddens has added 2023 and 2024 tour dates. Recently Rhiannon Giddens revealed her upcoming solo album “You’re The One” which will be released on August 18 by Nonesuch Records. This marks her first solo album in six years. The artist both a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, previewed the LP by releasing the title track.

Giddens released “You’re The One” after her Pulitzer prize wins for her collaboration with Michael Abels on the opera Omar.

Rhiannon’s latest album, consisting of 12 tracks, marks her return to solo work after her well-received album Freedom Highway in 2017. This album is notable as it features entirely original compositions.

Produced by Jack Splash, known for his work with artists such as Kendrick Lamar and Solange, You’re The One was recorded at Criteria Recording Studios in Miami. Giddens collaborated with her long-time partners Francesco Turrisi, Dirk Powell, Jason Sypher, and Niwel Tsumbu, and additional session musicians who contributed horns, strings, and other instruments. The LP features only one guest appearance by Jason Isbell.

Giddens has finalized her 2023 schedule and has begun planning for 2024 which includes notable performances at prestigious venues in North America and Europe. These venues include the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville in September and stops in Chicago, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, the Bay Area, and other locations. In early 2024 Rhiannon is scheduled to perform at the Barbican Centre in London the Beacon Theatre in New York City and the Ace Theater in Los Angeles.

Tickets for Giddens’ Fall 2023 and 2024 tour dates will be available for purchase by the general public on Friday, May 19, local venue time, following several presales.

Pro Tips When Buying Your Tickets

Get Ready for Tickets: Your Ticketmaster Guide to a Smooth Purchase!

Follow these steps to get ready for the presale or general on-sale day. First, access your Ticketmaster account by clicking “Sign In” or “My Account” in the top right corner at least 15 minutes before the sale starts. Please register if you don’t have an appropriate account.

If you want a quick check-out? Add your billing information before processing any other task (credit card info). When the presale begins, stay in the queue. Avoid using multiple browsers, devices, or accounts with the same phone number to prevent errors!

Remember, be patient, and don’t refresh or leave the page. Your dedication will pay off, and you’ll secure those coveted presale tickets!

What To Do If Tickets Are Sold Out?

If tickets sell out, your other choice is to purchase them from online brokers like VividSeats or StubHub. In the event that everything else fails, we prefer these resell options because they both come with a 100% Guarantee. You can also buy resale tickets through the Ticketmaster resale program. Simply conduct a search for the concert or event you wish to attend to see if resale tickets are offered. We advise weighing the three possibilities to determine which is best for you.
